Orfanato Ninos de Cristo
A home devoted to orphaned, indigent, homeless children.
This past April, I was fortunate and blessed to have been invited to spend a week at this orphanage, volunteering in the classroom, playing with the kids and of course, making my favorite little "NAME" books for all the kids.
There were over two dozen children, all between the ages of 5 and 12, who did'nt know how to spell their name. By the end of my week there, most of them could spell their name, confidently, with a gigantic SMILE....that's the best!

This is just one of the many places I have gone to make these fun books for kids. I used to find kids on the streets when I was traveling, ask them their name, and make a book for them, right there on the spot.
It is my hopes, that by this time next year, I will have the first of my What's that Spell? Names books published and can get schools involved to help me donate them during community service projects, etc.
Can't wait to see what my future holds!
